About GodWords

Online since 2001, millions around the world have come to GodWords to ask questions about God, the Bible, and Christianity. I do my best to answer, and encourage everyone to study the Bible for themselves.

It’s a reader-supported one man show. My goal is very simple: to help people trust God more today than they did yesterday. That happens when questions get asked and answered, when confusing concepts are explained in simple terms, and when doubts are addressed directly. It’s hard to know who to trust these days, so people are searching for answers. It’s a great time to tell them about Jesus!

Learning to follow Jesus well can be difficult, but it’s the most satisfying life we can choose… because we were created to be in a relationship with our Creator. Let me know how I can help.

❤️ Thank you for your Support!

I appreciate you all. For those who wish to contribute, here are some options:

  • Pray for me. I need wisdom and patience to faithfully respond to questions and requests for help. It’s not just about sharing biblical info, but about meeting the needs of each individual who reaches out.

  • Recommend GodWords. My goal is to help as many people as I can. The Kingdom of God is currently too small, and we can grow it by spreading the word. If you’re on Substack, a recommend is HUGE.

  • Subscribe. If you’re not a subscriber, that’s okay. If you want to subscribe, I hope to serve you well. A growing audience gains its own momentum, telling people that someone is worth hearing. Free annual subscriptions are available on request.

  • Financial support: If you’ve been blessed here, please consider this option if you can. Substack allows for either monthly or annual paid subscriptions, or you can offer one-time gifts through Buy Me A Coffee. Some resource links may be affiliate links.

  • Get involved. Because Substack now has Direct Messages, I’ve opened the DMs for paid subscribers. If there’s some way I can be helpful to you, I want to be. Whether it’s discussing a difficult topic or learning how to explain your faith clearly, there’s no substitute for personal interaction.
